Stroke play and match play are the two most common formats for golf tournaments and the ones you probably most associate with the word golf. Maybe you never realized that there are any more formats than just these two. However, there are a lot of creative ways to make your golf tournament different from the norm in order to entice a variety of competitors. Some of the most popular of these alternative golf tournament formats include games with fascinating titles such as the Bingo Bango Bongo, the Lone Ranger, and the Scramble.

Many league tournaments go with the Bingo Bango Bongo format. This type of tournament is very popular, because it provides a lot of opportunities for players to receive rewards. For example, the first team with a player on the green gets rewarded as does the first team to have all members on or near the green and the first player to put his ball in the hole. This lively type of play rewards even the very poorest players by giving them rewards based on the performance of their entire team.

Another favorite team tournament game is known as the Lone Ranger (aka Money Ball, Yellow Ball, or Pink Ball). This type of format operates with 4-member teams. Each member of the team takes a turn being the person responsible for making a hole for the team, the so-called Lone Ranger. The scores for all of the holes are totaled, and the team with the lowest score at the end of the round is the winner.

The Scramble is probably the most widely-used golf tournament format when teams are involved. Team sizes in a scramble can vary from 2 to 4 players. After each shot, players select the best stroke shot, and then all players on the team hit their next stroke from that location. This type of a tournament is popular because it takes some of the pressure off of the less-skilled golfers. There are many variations of this type of tournament designed to level the playing field. These variations include the Texas Scramble, the Florida Scramble, and the Ambrose Competition.

There are many other types of tournament formats that you can find browsing the Internet. No matter what type of tournament you are planning and the skills of those playing, you’ll be able to find a format that will make your tournament a huge success.

Golf training aids have become vastly popular with golfers everywhere. Golfers of all ages and skill levels are constantly looking for ways to help them improve their scores and reduce their handicaps.

The playing professionals have the talent and coaching to help them hit massive drives off the tee straight down the fairway, or consistently drop putt after putt in the hole. But, for the average golfer, we have to use a variety of proven training aids to help us lower our scores.

All of the TV and magazine ads for golf training aids can be quite overwhelming for the average person looking to improve their golf game. Training aids come in every form and fashion, from the Medicus Dual Hinge Driver, to Footjoy socks to help keep your feet comfortable.

But don’t fret, it’s really not as overwhelming as it appears. Although you may be tempted to buy every golf training aid in sight, it’s not necessary or practical, unless of course money is no object. The more prudent option would be to look at your overall golf game and decide what training aids would benefit your particular golf game.

For example, if you’re driving the golf ball long and straight but you’re having problems with your chipping, you may want to purchase a chipping aid. A product like the Chip Mate Net, or Chip-N-Pitch will help you achieve much better accuracy.

If you’re having problems driving the golf ball and keeping it in the fairway, consider the Medicus Dual Hinge Driver. This tool works great for those who may be slicing the golf ball.

There are also many PGA pros who endorse various golf training aids as well. Most of these products are of very high quality and will provide the needed help for your golf game.

Vijay Singh, the winner of several of golf’s majors, advertises and uses the Speed Stik. This training device is a golf shaft that measures your swing speed and helps you quicken your swing speed. This in turn will allow you to improve the distance of your drives. Ernie Els, another winner on the PGA tour, uses the Tempotimer. This device wraps around your golf club and will also improve your golf swing.

If you’re having difficulty with your entire golf swing, whether off the tee or near the green, you might want to consider looking at the 8 Board. This particular training aid will help optimize the swing plane for your individual stroke.

While various PGA playing pros advertise golf training aids, you may want to consider talking with the golf teaching pros in your area. They use several different training aids on a daily basis as part of their profession. These teaching pros are an excellent source for advice on what may work for your particular need and what may not.

Several putting aids are also available such as the Eyeline Putting Laser, as well as Path Pro. These are a couple of golf training aids that are endorsed by P.G.A. Professionals of America. Their job is to find the best training aids available for their students.

Golf equipment is not the only training aids available. There are also fitness routines, mental and physical programs and other methods of building the body and mind to improve your golf game. These are also considered to be golf training aids. Tiger Woods is big on physical fitness. He has helped lead the way in golf fitness for the past 10 years.

The golf training aids industry is huge. Several billions of dollars are spent each and every year in this industry. The Internet has been immensely popular as an advertising medium for training aids. Websites are everywhere that sell all sorts of golf aids.

So, if you’re looking to improve your golf game and lower your scores, then take a good look at all of the various training aids available. Get one that suits your needs and your game. You’ll be glad you did!

There are several top brands of golf clubs that golf enthusiasts and golf pros alike turn to again and again to get the best performance they possibly can out there on the green. These top golf clubs offer you the highest quality and best performance in drivers, fairway woods, irons, wedges, and putters. Whether you buy them as complete sets or individually, the top golf clubs drive your game on the green to a whole new level.

One of these top golf clubs makers is Ping. When it comes to irons, two of the very finest you can find are the Ping G10 and i10 irons. Ping puts its proprietary golf shaft technology into making these: their AWT (Ascending Weight Technology) shaft design. Among AWT’s amazing features is the fact that longer Ping golf clubs’ shafts are lighter than those of their shorter clubs, for a perfect blend of power and maneuverability.

Ping is also known for making top quality putters. Ping Anser putters are known for their larger size and their solid feel. They help give you an extra measure of control when you are trying to get that perfect putt. Ping Anser putters are known for their larger size and their solid feel. They help give you an extra measure of control when you are trying to get that perfect putt. Ping’s 1/2 Craz-E putter seamlessly combines the blade putter and the mallet putter. Ping also makes a hybrid Craz-E putter that additionally combines features of the flange putter. As you can see, Ping’s putters are among the most versatile putters to be found, whether you are a serious amateur, a semi-professional, or a pro. This is why the Anser and the Craz-E are two of the top selling golf clubs in the world.

Another one of the finest makers of golf clubs is TaylorMade. One of the best exemplars of the TaylorMade brand of golf clubs is the TaylorMade® Rescue Mid Graphite Shaft. This utility club was specially designed to give players at once the distance and the power of a fairway wood along with the ability to hit with the straightness and high degreee of accuracy of an iron. To put together this very impressive utility golf club, the company made use of its proprietary TaylorMade® TNG grip and TM Ultralite graphite shaft with its tip soft design and the low flex point which enables the player to hit the ball at a higher trajectory.

One TaylorMade enthusiast has said of this club, “I don’t even pull the headcover off of my driver and just hit this rescue off the tee. Great feel and workability. Swing it like an eight iron and it has the distance of at least a five wood. I am hitting [the ball] about 220 to 230.”

But yet another shining star among golf clubs makers is the Titleist brand. One of Titleist’s most outstanding products is their Vokey 200 Series Chrome Wedge. Vokey Design wedges are widely regarded as among the best of the best short game tools available for any golfer. These are manufactured from heat-treated 8620 mild carbon steel; this enables Titleist to give them their precise shape, tight tolerances, and process consistency that these great wedges are known for. Yet at once, they yield the player a soft, solid feedback. Titleist’s 200 Series wedges also add beauty and class with a teardrop profile with a high two as well as a shallow heel. One enthusiastic user says of the Titleist wedge, “This was the most astounding wedge I have used my whole entire life. It will help anyone from within 100 yards like it does for me. It can do everything better than those people say it does!”

And what list of top quality golf clubs would be complete without a mention of the legendary Callaway golf clubs? Callaway golf clubs are famous for a number of reasons, one of the biggest of which is their Big Bertha irons. These powerful steel-shafted irons are designed to give a number of great benefits to the golfer. First off, they are highly accurate by comparison with other irons. Their big head means they have a bigger sweet spot so you can make that “perfect” long distance hit. They give you a superb feel when you are using them, so you always feel in control even when you’re totally blasting the golf ball. And one of the Callaway clubs’ very best features is that they last–so you are getting what you pay for.

Callaway irons have a reputation for improving a person’s distance game to the green and giving players heightened self-confidence, making them better enabled to compete and get the most out of their game.

This is just a short list of a few of the outstanding brands and specific golf clubs they offer. All of the companies mentioned also offer other top of the line golf clubs, and you can find yet more excellent golf club manufacturers to check out at Improve My Golf Game.

Concept Golf’s five swing principles have been proven effective by countless golfers at all levels. The principles are not just theory — they are what works and what the best players have always done. These five fundamentals cause all of the positive, desired effects you see in the Tour Players’ swings. They are based upon the same fundamental athletic motion you use when you throw a ball. They are not scientific, but they do follow the laws of physics. You don’t need to think about these things, but having a thorough understanding of the total concept of the swing will benefit you.

1. Weight Transfer: This is the foundation the basic athletic motion used in every ground based sport. It is simply the moving of the body to the back foot to cause the back swinging motion. Then moving the body to the front foot to cause the through swinging motion. It is movement OVER to the back foot. You can accomplish this by picking your front foot up in the air. What happens? All of your weight moves to your back foot. That’s exactly what you want to have happen.

By moving all your weight to your back foot you have gotten the mass of your body behind the ball and it is now ready to move back through the ball. To reverse the direction of the swing, transfer all of your weight from your back foot to your front foot. That is all there is to it. Stand on your back foot then stand on your front foot.

There is NO turning, just a lateral move to your back foot then to your front foot. Might your head move when you do this? YES, it will. Is this OK? It is necessary, not just OK. The still head thing is a myth, a folk remedy discussed in The Swing book.

It is the moving of your body through weight transfer that permits the swinging of your arms. This is strength, power, effortlessness, distance, consistency. Other than that its not important.

This principle is intertwined with the next principle, Relaxation. They are dependent on each other. Without weight transfer, relaxation will not and cannot occur. Without relaxation weight transfer cannot and will not occur.

2. Relaxation: This is possible for you, and every golfer, to accomplish. It is necessary for every golfer to accomplish if he is to have any real quality shots success. This is the secret to great distance. It is the secret to high consistency quality shots. Nothing works well in athletics without relaxation. It sems to be counter-intuitive in golf.

You see the green 442 yards away and you drive the ball with all your might. That’s seems to be the effective thing to do to make the ball go as far as possible. What happens to the drive? It goes 157 yards slicing in to the trees. The solution? Swing harder. You’re really going to kill the ball this time. The result? You do kill it this time. It dies at your feet!!

The golf swing is an expression of centrifugal force. Remember swinging the rock at the end of the string in science class in 8th grade? To make the rock go faster you had two choices; speed up your hand that held the end of the string or make the string longer. PUSHING ON THE STRING MADE THE ROCK STOP, NOT GO FASTER.

That’s centrifugal force, that’s the golf swing. The rock on the end of the string is the club head. The string is the shaft and your arms. The string attaches at your sternum. To make the club head move more quickly you have two choices; lengthen the string (longer shaft) or speed up your sternum. BY PUSHING ON THE STRING YOU WILL NOT MAKE THE CLUB MOVE MORE QUICKLY, YOU WILL SLOW IT DOWN.

To create maximum speed in the club head requires maximum relaxation in your shoulders. Then the club will be swung without interruption. Your job is to relax so your arms can swing freely, so your club can swing freely and at its maximum possible speed.

Trying to swing your club at the ball with all your might will keep you a 100+ shooter. I promise.

How do you speed up your sternum? With your feet just like you do when you throw a ball. Want to throw it farther, quicken your feet. Want to hit a longer shot? Quicken your feet a little bit. Don’t try hard to quicken your feet a lot. A little additional speed in you feet translates to a lot more speed in your sternum and a whole lot more speed in your club head.

Relax your shoulders until it seems they are coming out of their sockets DURING THE ENTIRE SWING and you have increased your club speed exponentially. I promise.

3. Back leg and knee: This is your real source of power. During your backswing, keep your back leg flexed and the weight and pressure on the ball and big toe of your foot. Now as you reach the top of your backswing your back leg is in position to push against the ground in order to push your body forward to your front foot. The good baseball pitchers pitch with this motion. You throw a ball this way , pitch a horse shoe this way, shoot a basket ball this way, etc., etc. your power, and delicacy come from your back leg. It can and will work automatically if you have weight transfer, relaxation and keep you back leg flexed during the backswing.

Did you notice that I spent more words describing the relaxation section than the other four sections? Would it seem that I think relaxation is important?

Now, relax your shoulders and go play golf. The five Concept Golf swing principles are not five things to do but a whole concept to understand.

The number of consumers who will purchase golf equipment online is growing rapidly. While this trend is creating huge sales numbers and opening doors for many new business’s, it is also bringing a lot of negative to the golf industry. Online auction sites like Ebay and DHGate have many sellers who are selling replica golf clubs and claiming they are authentic. Ebay along with Paypal have taken means of eliminating these sellers, but getting rid of them all is impossible. DHgate, which some might be unfamiliar with, is a total different story.

DHGate is a wholesale trading marketplace based out of China. They have sellers marketing all kinds of products like golf clubs, ipods, clothing, consumer electronics, televisions, and much more. They claim the golf clubs come from China OEM factories and are authentic. This is the first sign you are buying knock off golf clubs. The brand name golf companies(Taylor Made, Callaway, etc..) will tell you there is no such thing as buying their golf equipment directly form the factory. The brand name companies purchase the golf club components and then professionally install them in the United States. The sellers on DHGate will advertised prices that look to good to be true. They are!

If you have already bought your new golf club and are curious if it is authentic or not there are a few ways to check yourself.

Go to google images and search the club that you have bought. Compare the picture to the club in your hand. Are the color schemes the same? Are the logos the in same place? Do the shafts look alike? If the picture and the club in your hand have any differences at all you have a knock off.

Check the hosel of the club where the head and shaft are connected. Is there areas around that connection that look hand painted? If so you’re probably looking at a knock off.

Was the golf club you purchased ordered and shipped from China? If so, chance are you have a knock off. The majority of the fake/knock off golf clubs originate from China.

Finally, the easiest way to tell is to contact your local golf club retailer and give them the serial number located on the hosel of the golf club.

To prevent yourself from purchasing non authentic golf equipment do your research prior to purchasing anything! This will save you a lot of time and money trying to get refunds and having to pay return shipping charges. Best of luck out there consumers.

Even though the choice of European golf resorts becomes wider every year, the Algarve in Portugal remains a firm favourite with golfers from around the world. There are a number of reasons why the Algarve continues to go from strength to strength and one of these is the sheer variety of golf and leisure activities on offer.

Golf tourism in Algarve has developed by listening to the demands of the Algarve golf tourist. Infrastructure in popular golf resorts such as Vilamoura and Quinta do Lago has been designed around the needs of the golfer, creating an environment that he or she will wish to return to year after year.

Resorts and golf courses are close together; there are over forty golf courses in the Algarve, the closest being 15 minutes drive from Faro Airport and the furthest being around 90 minutes drive. All Algarve golf courses and resorts are of the highest standard with many currently ranked in the world’s top 25.

This means that golfers are literally spoiled for choice and can play a number of courses on their golf holidays in Algarve and still have ample time to enjoy the huge variety of recreational options on offer.

Lets take the golf resort of Vilamoura as an example. Vilamoura has won the title of best European golf resort on a number of occasions. There are six golf courses in the resort, designed by such golfing legends as Arnold palmer and Nick Faldo, all of which can be reached in under 10 minutes by taxi. Vilamoura has its own Marina, casino and night club that open seven days a week.

Vilamoura Marina plays host to a huge selection of activities including restaurants, bars, shops and strip clubs. There are also cruise, watersports, scuba diving and sea fishing companies who operate directly from the Marina throughout the year. The fact that all of these activities can be found within a short walk from Vilamoura’s golf courses means that the golfer can maximise both golf and leisure time throughout his or her stay.

Facilities in Vilamoura’s golf resorts and hotels are equally impressive. The new 5 star Tivoli Victoria hotel, for example, over looks the Victoria golf course and provides everything from a health spa and gym to a shopping concourse and conference facilities. There are not one but two high class restaurants as well as both interior and exterior swimming pools.

Because the Algarve is a year round resort, golfers also have the flexibility of booking their Algarve golf holidays whenever they choose. All of the low cost carriers provide regular flights to and from Faro Airport and the resultant competition means that flight costs are always at a low. Similarly, Algarve golf resorts compete against each other to provide the best value golf packages and breaks; this means that there are always great deals to be had with packages available for any budget.

So if you are thinking of taking a golf holiday this year, have a look at what an Algarve golf holiday can offer you in terms of golf facilities, leisure activities and value for money. You’ll find the Algarve difficult to beat on all fronts and with the added advantage of having more annual sunshine than any other European golf destination, you’re bound to come home with a tan.

If you have ever watched golf, you have no doubt heard the term “swing path”. The golf swing path is, simply put, the path in which you swing the club on. Though it is easily understood, it is much harder to do correctly. Every golfer knows that if your swing path is not correct, it will result in a whole lot of ugly shots.

Every swing has two separate swing paths. There is one for the back swing, and one for the down swing.

For your back swing, your height and the distance you stand from the ball determine the correct angle of this path. Begin your take away by keeping the club head low and your hands as far away from your head as possible. This helps you create a larger arc and gain club head speed. As your shoulders turn and the club head rises keep the club on this path. Picture an imaginary line from the ball to the target. If you can keep the club on this golf swing path, you will have the club correctly aligned at the top of your swing, which is critical as you begin to transition to the down swing.

There is no absolute correct swing path. Your build will determine the correct path for you. For instance, if your legs are shorter than your arms, you will naturally create a shallow golf swing. Just as, if you are long-legged, your path will naturally be steeper. It does not really matter as long as your club is parallel at the top your swing.

You begin your down swing by bumping your hip to the left (for the right-handed, lefties reverse). This will automatically get your club on the right golf swing path. When your shoulders begin back, this changes the path slightly. It will no longer be directly down your target path. It will be slightly out to the right of the target. You are on the correct path; you have swung from the inside out.

If you are on the correct golf swing path, you will eliminate the dreaded over the top swing. Swinging over the top kills your distance and makes you a very inconsistent golfer.

Practicing your golf swing path daily helps the movement become automatic. Perfecting this aspect of the golf swing will help you become a more consistent golfer, which, of course, makes the game more fun. There are many devices and books out there to help you learn to do this. Once you feel you have it down, have a professional take a look at your swing just to make sure you have it down correctly.

You may have noticed that the last time you were at the driving range, your swing could not compare to those around you. Does that make them better golfers than you? No, it simply means that they are better trained than you are. What you need is a strengthening exercise for golf, and golf only. This is the case only because a strengthening exercise for golf is very different than a strengthening exercise for another sport. These exercises are not difficult, but expect to spend a little longer in the gym if you slack off early on.

No strengthening exercise for golf should take more than half an hour a day, for about three days a week. This is something that sounds easy, and it is. Remember, golfing requires the use of shoulders, back, wrists and elbows, so those are the parts of the body you should be working out. Sitting there working on your calves all day can help your appearance but it wont help your golf game.

This strengthening exercise for golf requires the use of isometrics. Isometrics is the practice of lifting a weight and holding it up for about ten seconds at a time. For example, a bench press with free weights can help your pectoral muscles grow. But instead of raising and lowering the bar countless times, you instead raise the bar once and hold it. Hold it. Hold it. Now lower it slowly. Rest a little and do this again two more times. That’s isometrics.

Strengthening Exercise for Golf Routine:

o Squats and lunges can help shape your hips which should be an important part of any golf swing. Do enough of these until you begin to feel a slight burning sensation.

o A bench press, as stated before, can help pectorals which are connected to the arms. Ideally, you should use free weights instead of a bar, and you should only lift however much you can. Don’t push yourself to your limits. This is not a contact sport where you must be stronger than your opposition. Lift and hold for ten seconds, let go, rest, and repeat twice.

o A wrist curl can be a golfer’s best friend if they have club control issues. Using a free weight, curl your wrist upwards and hold for ten seconds. Let go and relax for a minute or so. Do this over again twice more.

o For help with your weak swing, a row machine can help you out drastically. Start off with both arms hold, release, relax and repeat as usual. If you want to increase your swing without increasing weight, row yourself forward using just one arm at a time.

o Remember to always stretch before and after any workout.

A strengthening exercise for golf seems really easy now that you see how it’s done, right? These are tips that anyone can try whether you’re a professional player on a major golf tour or just a member of a country club.

This is a sample workout for a strengthening exercise for golf for any golf enthusiast who has the time and the determination to do so. http://www.squidoo.com/golftrainingexercise/

The game of golf has been a popular sport from the beginning. Although it may have been seen as merely a fad in the beginning, it has grown to become a closely watched, professional level, international sport, watched by many and broadcast over TV and radio media around the world. The fluid movement of the golf club, the connection as it hits the ball and sends it on an unknown journey continues to captivate many fans of many ages. Which leads us to ask, how did golf grow into the popular game it has become today?

Surprisingly, there are a variety of stories claiming to know the history and birth of this game. One of the earliest records is of a game called “gowf” being outlawed in Scotland in the 1400s. There is some debate over whether this was the same game that we know today as golf.

Some roots of golf can also be found in the Netherlands in the 17th century, but this fact is also debated by some. Modern day golf consists of 18 holes, yet if you look back through history, this game originally consisted of 11 holes. There was also a practice of playing the 11 holes and then playing them in reverse, back to the beginning, resulting in a game of 22 holes.

Britain founded the Professional Golf Association in 1901, which even today is internationally recognized as the original golf association. Although not exactly hot on their heels, Australia established an Australian Association of Professional Golfers in 1911. However, it was not until the 1920s that the United States caught up and began to establish the practice of professional golf tours. Women took even longer to appear on the scene, showing up post World War II in public golfing games. So, the true origins of golf are not at all clear.

Undoubtedly today, golf remains one of the most popular and widely publicized sports. Golf players can be found in countries around the world, including the United States to China, European countries like France to Africa, and countless more. Some of the more popular names in the this game include Sergio Garcia, Camilo Villegas, Phil Mickelson, and Vijay Singh.

In nearly every major city across the world, golf courses exist, or are fairly easily accessible by car. The design of these courses has been a competitive and financially rewarding market for many, involving complex designing to create more and more challenging courses. These designs frequently make use of lakes, rolling hills, and areas of flat green. A challenging course is a popular course.

The PGA Tours, which attract famous and internationally recognized players such as Tiger Woods, are now a commonly accepted event, not only for sporting fans but for every day people. These tours attract a large international following, with many travelling far to support their favorite player.

Moreover, golf has not remained a man’s only domain, although men still dominate in this area. Since World War II, women players have also been making their mark. Names such as Paula Creamer, Michelle Wie, Morgan Pressel, Annika Sorenstam, and Natalie Gulbis are among the more well-known of the women golfers. They have been building their own fan followings, and slowly but surely moving to the front of the game, to not only stand alongside men, but to bring added competition to the sport.

It is a fact that golf remains a popular, well-loved game internationally. Taking some well-placed holes, some rolling greens, a stick, and a ball, who could have guessed such a combination of factors would result to such a fascinating game? Yet the popularity of golf today rivals the following of NFL football. So it seems this game’s popularity is not only a thing of the past; it is a definite fixture of today, and undoubtedly of the years to come.

Ever wonder how to get that great distance and control on the course? It all has to do with golf ball contact. Everything depends on how and when you hit the golf ball, and you’ll see it in your results.

Hit Down to Get the Ball Up:

This may sound a little bit crazy to some but, with every club except the driver and putter you should be striking the ball with a slightly downward blow. What this does is, it allows the loft of the club to work as it’s supposed to and launch the ball up into the air. Proper golf ball contact will also increase distance because when the ball is hit at impact, the descending movement compresses the ball which in turn releases more energy sending the ball further.

There is a common mistake made by beginners. What they tend to do is try to scoop the ball and help it into the air with their fairway woods and irons. This is a critical mistake because hitting up on the ball will only causes a lot more miss hits and give the player poor distance on each shot.

When you are swinging your irons and even fairway woods you should be aiming at the bottom front of the ball itself or even a little bit before the ball. This will allow the very bottom of your swing arc to still be on a descending path when you make contact with the golf ball. If you watch a good player when they hit the ball with a 9-iron for example, you’ll notice that their divots always begin in front of the ball and never after the ball. What this means is the golfer is making contact with the ball first still on the downswing, and then contact with the turf takes place.

When this is done correctly the golf ball gets squished or pressed between the clubface and the ground, which increases the compression and results in more distance and spin for that particular shot. If you try to hit up on the ball with your fairway woods or irons you could end up topping the ball or even missing it.

The Exception:

There’s always one exception to every rule. This one involves hitting your driver off the tee. With this club you want to try to make golf ball contact on the slight upswing or the beginning of your upward swing arc. One of the main reasons for doing this is because the driver has very little loft and it’s harder to get the ball into the air.

The other reason is the drivers now have very few grooves which helps to eliminate spin that is put on the ball during compression. It allows the ball to travel through the air with a piercing or floating type action and travel great distances.

One of the most important tips you can learn about equipment and your golf game is when to make proper golf ball contact. It all depends on what club you are using and the situation. Try and use this little bit of info the next time you’re on the course and watch what happens.
